Biondi Travel is looking for its next key team member – a Travel Coordinator to assist Amy in executing seamless trips by managing the administrative workload. This role will involve a lot of collaborative effort between you and Amy; therefore, you will be expected to make plenty of suggestions on how to do things more efficiently.

This is an exciting and dynamic role with a lot of room to grow as the company grows, and you will be able to take on more responsibilities as you learn, such as travel opportunities to provide additional education.

More specifically, in this role you will:

  • Assist Amy with the trip set up and conducting research
  • Assist with trip booking components
  • Convert partner proposals to Biondi Travel branded proposals
  • Manage invoices
  • Create itineraries for Biondi Travel’s clients
  • Communicate critical client information to the partners
  • Provide insurance quotes
  • Reconfirm reservations and work with the concierge to set up transfers
  • Report to Amy and interact with the support office in Birmingham, suppliers, and, potentially, clients

Once you join Biondi Travel, an onboarding process will be organised for you to get you up to speed. The training will be provided both by Amy and the Brownwell Support Team in Birmingham. The training will be done asynchronously as well as in the form of shadowing and mock tasks.

In order to excel in this role, you need to have:

  • Excellent communication skills and good knowledge of English
  • Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude & willingness to assist by sharing new ideas
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box to solve problems
  • Good computer skills and the ability to navigate new tools and software easily
  • Basic to intermediate experience with Excel and Google Sheets

Brownie points for:

  • Experience within the travel industry
  • Experience with managing social media
  • Experience implementing software and processes
