As a Supplier Relations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between CurvGroup and suppliers/manufacturers from China. Your primary responsibility will be to handle the end-to-end sourcing processes, ensuring smooth communication and efficient coordination with various stakeholders. This role requires expertise in navigating platforms such as Alibaba to identify reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
Responsibilities include:
🔍 Researching and evaluating suppliers of goods and services
📞 Communicating directly with China factories
📦 Coordinating the purchase of samples from multiple suppliers
🔎 Conducting thorough evaluations of potential suppliers based on research, ratings, and reviews
🚚 Managing manufacturing and distribution processes
💬 Gathering quotes, proposals, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions
🤝 Negotiating contracts with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and customers
💡 Innovating supply chain processes to improve efficiency
This is a full-time role. Ideally, your working hours will overlap with 8 AM to 1 PM CDT (3:00 PM to 8:00 PM CET), ensuring ample availability for collaboration and seamless operations across different regions.
To excel in this role, you need:
- Experience in working with suppliers and manufacturers from China.
- Proficiency in utilizing Alibaba platform for sourcing and supplier management.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate costs and terms of items effectively.
- Familiarity with Chinese suppliers and a deep understanding of Chinese culture and work practices.
