At the moment, the OneRhythm team is looking for a Marketing Data Specialist to address the growing needs around marketing campaign data reporting and analysis, while delivering useful insights which will help their clients grow. In a nutshell, your role will be built around the management of operations, and technical and strategic components of marketing data analysis.

As a Marketing Data Specialist at OneRhythm, you will join a small but rapidly growing marketing agency and make a real difference to the business. It will be an incredible opportunity to work with world-class cultural organisations such as the California Academy of Sciences, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and the Exploratorium.

More specifically, within this role you will:

  • Coordinate campaign data requests and transfers between clients, third party data partners, and third party production vendors
  • Work with other data analysts to code campaign files for tracking and reporting
  • Prepare and finalize client-facing campaign reports
  • Consistently refine SOPs around these operational activities
  • Work with Excel and PowerPoint to create campaign reports & campaign data (brownie points if you are already familiar with data visualisation software, e.g. Tableau, etc.)
  • Analyse campaign results to make data-based recommendations to clients based on results

Within this role, your initial focus will be on taking over the client reporting deliverables from the CEO; however, you will also have a huge scope for professional growth, and, in the long term, more focus will be centred around:

1) Streamlining data-related procedures and platforms to create efficiently repeatable reporting and analysis across clients

2) Developing systems to track campaign components e.g. A/B tests, offers, and audience segments across clients and campaigns for aggregate insights

3) Working with clients to set up data pipelines between their CRMs and OneRhythm platforms to enable quasi-real-time reporting, and

4) Creating campaign intelligence-related competitive advantages for the company.

An onboarding process will be organised for you as you join OneRhythm and the training will primarily consist of learning while doing. You will have access to the existing SOPs, but you are expected to have general operational & technical knowledge of direct response marketing to quickly pick up the tasks and take ownership of your responsibilities.

In your first weeks at OneRythm, you will work closely with the CEO and Operations Manager by regularly meeting them via Zoom to prioritise tasks, review progress and ask questions. Once you grasp the scope of operations, your focus will be to improve the relevant processes to help scale the business as OneRhytm grows its clients.

In order to excel in this role, you need to have:

  • Experience working with marketing data – all of the campaigns include integrated direct mail, email, and online advertising, and you must feel comfortable working with this type of data
  • Ability to prepare reports using Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with direct response marketing, e.g. coding campaign data for campaign execution, developing promo codes for different segments, managing LIStIDs for accurate reporting, and managing A/B testing
  • Real passion for data, from working with files to developing reports and data visualisation
  • Ability to analyse data for insights that will help improve campaign performance
  • A great work ethic with the ability to have fun while delivering awesome results to the clients

Brownie points for:

  • A background in statistics
  • Experience with business intelligence/data visualisation software, such as Tableau (or the eagerness to learn these tools!)
  • Knowledge of/experience with managing large data sets (100,000 - 400,000 per campaign) & preparing this type of data for reporting and analysis
  • Ability to build interactive online client reports
