Under the guidance of Dallas Taylor, the Creative Director and host of the renowned podcast "Twenty Thousand Hertz," Defacto Sound comprises a team passionate about sound. Taylor has led many high-profile projects, including blockbuster trailers, advertising campaigns, award-winning films, and major television series. His leadership positions Defacto Sound as an influential collective in the sound narrative.

As an Executive Assistant, the purpose is to significantly reduce the business owner's time managing emails, thereby enhancing their ability to focus on creative and business endeavours that are crucial for the company.

Responsibilities:

🧾 Manage and triage all email communications.

📑 Write emails and messages on behalf of the business owner from dictation.

📦 Draft responses for the business owner to review and send.

📑 Book travel and appointments, ensuring efficient time management.

📊 Handle administrative and time-sensitive errands.

📦 Perform data entry and research as needed.

📑 Research vendors, gifts, and service providers.

📦 Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports.

🗓️ Keep a record of activities on Google Calendar.

🗒️ Execute playbook-driven tasks integral to content creation

Working Hours ⏰:

Full time.

- Working hours should begin approximately 4 hours before the business owner's day starts.

- There should be some overlap with the business owner's working hours.

- The business owner's working hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Central Time (US), with a 1-hour break.

Suggested working hours for someone in CET:

Monday-Thursday: 10:30am - 8pm CET (8.5 hours of work with 1-hour break);
Friday: 10:30am - 5:30pm CET (6 hours of work with 1-hour break).

This schedule ensures 4.5 hours of crossover time on Monday-Thursday and 2 hours on Friday, providing optimal coordination.

The total weekly hours would be 40, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule and ensuring Fridays are available.
