Virtual Assistant for a Health and Wellness Website [CLOSED]

My name is Holly, and I run the website makesauerkraut.com, a thriving and growing community of fermentation fans and health-seekers with 40,000 monthly visitors and 12,000 plus email subscribers.

ABOUT YOU

I am looking to hire a permanent VA to help me assemble, update, and post content, start a YouTube channel, and pitch guest spots on podcasts.

ABOUT THE JOB

You will be doing various tasks, almost all of which I will create video tutorials and train you on as necessary.

Successful applicants would be available 10 hours weekly (Hours to grow, as I see growth in my business), generally 2 hours daily, Monday through Friday, and skilled in using (or ability and desire to learn) the tools below.

Currently, the focus for growing my business is on:

  1. Updating my WordPress website to improve SEO and increase Google traffic.
  2. Establishing a new YouTube channel to deliver content in a new format.
  3. Increasing my reach through podcast interviews and partnerships with other content creators.

Responsibilities

Some things I have in mind for you to do in the immediate future are:

  • WordPress Gutenberg editor (Update and format posts to my specifications, upload photos, enter alt text, find and correct spelling and grammatical mistakes.)
  • YouTube (Upload videos, thumbnails, and descriptions.) Basic video editing skills would be a BIG plus.
  • Google Docs and Google Sheets (content uploading, tracking website and Google traffic stats).
  • Canva (Select images for posts. File organization.)
  • Zoom call scheduling (Reminder emails, upload call videos to course content platform)
  • ConvertKit email management.
  • ClickUp project management.

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of WordPress and Gutenberg Blocks.
  • Experience with email management software such as ConvertKit.
  • Experience with Google Docs and Google Sheets
  • Experience with ClickUp project management software would be nice but is not essential.
  • Must be EXTREMELY detail-oriented.
  • Must have excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Must have a keen eye for beautiful design.
  • Must be able to closely follow directions, yet feel empowered enough to speak up if something is right or could be done better.
  • Must have fast and reliable internet speed and a reliable laptop/computer.

Working Hours ⏰: I need a candidate available for a few hours of overlap with my Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm PST work schedule, aligning with Los Angeles time, for any necessary live communication and to reduce turnaround time.
