Tech Lead - Digip [CLOSED]

Full Time 4000.00 EUR Type: Monthly

Digip.com is a legal tech startup from Stockholm, Sweden. We’re disrupting the global trademark registration and surveillance market, offering a service that has the potential to digitally replace a multi-billion market worldwide.

Our primary service is to register trademarks for our customers and provide watch services for that trademark in their regions. This is gathered in the customer platform which they can log in to.

Our service will also widen in terms of delivery, where domains, DNS, and cyber security are areas of interest. As we hold lots of data related to trademarks, we have started a journey within AI and ML which will be a key success factor going forward.

We have been operating for about two years and have built a platform and a global team of about 15 people based throughout Sweden, Europe and the globe. To this date we are serving clients in 35 countries, adding new geographic markets every week. We have the right technology, even at an early stage, but we are certain that we will be able to continue the rapid growth by adding the right people to the team. Our company has received funding from one of the most prominent tech venture capitalists in Sweden, founded by the government, called Industrifonden.

We are growing our team & we are onboarding more engineers with the right skill sets on top of our developer teams. That is why we are looking to hire a Tech Lead who will act as our CTO's right hand and allow us to scale our business. • Outline the solutions to the tech problems with the CTO for the dev teams to implement
  • Discuss technical needs & propose clear solutions to developers
  • Work with the dev teams on complex tasks
  • Report to and interact with the CTO daily

In your first weeks, you will get to understand the platform & our business model, as well as work by the CTO's side and attend meetings, create specifications, etc. Any additional training needed will be sorted along the way.

Tools we use to communicate & manage the workload:

  • Microsoft Teams
  • Trello
  • Monday.com
  • Hubspot

As our ideal candidate, you should have:

  • Experience with PHP development, including PHP framework
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • eCommerce experience, preferably Laravel and/or Magento
  • Good understanding of business
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Brownie points for:

  • Tech management/lead experience
  • React/Vue and JS front-end experience

What’s in it for you?

  • €4000 per month
  • Flexible & international environment
  • Full-time position → 8 hours per day with online hours from 9 AM to 3 PM CET
  • Multiple yearly Stockholm trips to join the HQ for working and socializing
  • Professional growth opportunities: the sky's the limit as the dev team is made up of 8 people at the moment but will grow to 50 in around two-three years

*Please note that this is a gross salary and that you are responsible for any tax-related procedures in your country of residence. We kindly ask you to apply only if you are happy to work remotely as an independent contractor.
