You'll be part of a committed Product Engineering team of five – including a tech lead, three full-stack developers, and a QA. The best part? As their new Software Engineer, you'll collaborate with the dynamic Product Engineering team to:

• 🛠️Maintain and enhance the existing codebase, which involves refactoring code and rectifying defects

• 🔍 Engage in peer code reviews

Get ready to embark on a rewarding journey of professional growth! The team will set you off with 2-3 weeks of standard training. But it doesn't end there - you'll enjoy continued mentorship and coaching to help you scale up your skills. The first few weeks will involve developer onboard training, consisting of the curated onboarding content. You'll then transition into working on smaller dev items such as bug fixes.

Referral Rock is seeking a Software Engineer who combines excellent communication skills & fluent English with a hunger for new technologies, a commitment to writing high-quality code, and a penchant for taking ownership of their work in a remote team environment.

Therefore, to excel in this role, you need to have:

• A minimum of 7 years professional software development experience
• At least 6 years of experience with C#
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with SQL Server, Web Development (HTML/JavaScript), ASP.NET, and Azure Services
• 2+ years spent maintaining IT infrastructure
• An eagerness to work with product team members on the design and development of new features
• A knack for maintaining the existing code base by refactoring code and fixing defects
• An ability to contribute to the improvement of your team's processes and best practices
• A readiness to engage in peer code reviews

Nice-to-have (but not required):

• Experience with UI/UX design
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with ElasticSearch
• An understanding of OWASP top 10 and web application security
