Gridlock is looking for a new team member -- a full-time Software Development Project Manager to ensure the successful planning, execution and delivery of software development projects.

This is an exciting and dynamic role where you will be instrumental in helping Gridlock grow by implementing changes rapidly and identifying areas of improvement.

More specifically, within this role you will:

• Manage a team of developers and testers
• Prioritise tasks to ensure all the deadlines are met
• Oversee and improve the development processes
• Plan out the blueprints, including defining scope, allocating resources, scheduling, executing and delivering projects
• Ensure the successful completion of software development projects

After the initial onboarding, the team expects you to hit the ground running and use your expert knowledge of software development project management. You will have regular meetings with the team, especially the developers and operations assistants, to ensure you are set up for success in your role. You will also review the current project management solutions, perform high-level reviews of current processes and provide your input and alterations, as needed.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

• 3+ years of experience with building out a software development process
• 2+ years of experience managing a team of developers
• 2+ years of experience with KPIs or OKRs
• 4+ years of working as a project manager in a software environment
• Relevant experience working with smaller software development teams
• Experience with the use of development tools and processes
• Good working knowledge of project estimation techniques
• Experience with project management tools, e.g. ClickUp, Asana, Notion, etc.
• Ability to implement structures and processes
• Ability to successfully work with different personality types
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to project management
