Our US-based consumer products company (KeySmart) is looking for a talented individual to join our team.
KeySmart needs a PURCHASING SPECIALIST - PROCUREMENT AND LOGISTICS who can work during CST business hours. We need a motivated, enthusiastic, communicative, and hard-working individual to contribute to our procurement and logistics operations.
Our ideal candidate would have excellent written and verbal English communication skills, a strong work ethic, and would be highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.
We will provide training through written and video guides to make the onboarding process simple and seamless.
Job Description
- Assist in managing product launch timelines
- Assist in optimizing freight costs between China, the US, and our international fulfillment houses
- Communicate and manage our existing suppliers
- Assist in recommending and implementing cost savings initiatives on production and designs
- Participate in providing input on new products
- Create and manage purchase orders and communicate with the team on SKU shipment status
- Maintain weekly inventory reports including stock status and open POs
- Update and maintain product database
- Perform all other related tasks as per instruction of the head of the department
Requirements
- 5 years of sourcing experience, preferably with book of contacts
- Inventory management experience
- Logistics experience
- Strong proficiency in productivity software and spreadsheets
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
