Operations Manager [CLOSED]

Our client has been helping companies become product-led since 2016 and have accomplished quite a bit in that time. They’ve written the best-selling book on product-led growth, hosted multiple product-led summits alongside leading industry experts, have a popular podcast and blog, and their certification program has helped fuel the growth of brands like Typeform, Mixpanel and Microsoft. Now they've engaged us to help them grow!

We are looking for an Operations Manager to support the CEO. The person we're looking for will:

Working closely with the CEO, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day internal administrative and operational functions of the business. The areas of the business you will be accountable for include administration, finance, product development, procurement, human resources, and information technology. You will oversee a team of 3 people, to start, and as you become accustomed to your role, it's anticipated that your team will grow to 7. To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, at a senior level.
  • Have a deep understanding of at least 2 of the following practice areas: administration, finance, product development, procurement, human resources, and/or information technology.
  • Be a confident and sound decision maker.
  • Have demonstrated experience with setting goals and strategies, and with achieving business objectives.
  • Be comfortable working in, and leading, a fully remote workforce.
  • Able to motivate and develop their team to achieve their maximum potential while ensuring all team members work in line with our clients values.
  • Be exhilarated by change and able to inspire others to see the positive side of a rapidly changing industry and/or environment.
  • Have knowledge, and experience, with data analytics, strategic planning, and financial budgeting.

  • Excellent MS Office skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work with autonomy.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to display a 'can do' attitude and a consistently positive approach; and
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
