Mid- to Senior-Level Developer (PHP, Laravel, MySQL) [CLOSED]

Tom Nuss is the founder of Cloudkeep. Cloudkeep develops a real estate property management SaaS solution to manage real estate rental properties. The software is suitable to manage all kinds of real estate properties such as residential properties (like apartments, quarters), commercial real estate and other related objects such as parking spots.

The main functionality of the SaaS solution is:

1. Contract management / CRM - e.g. who is the tenant, when does the contract end, what is the rental price;
2. Incident management - fully integrated ticketing system to manage all incidents related to the properties (usually reported by the tenant), including creating work orders for third parties (e.g. for a plumber);
3. Financial part - focussed on keeping track of rent payments and expenses incurred.

Other than these main features, the software includes features like a client portal, generating contracts (including integrated digital signing of documents), inspection reports, Excel exports.

In order to improve its product & build new features, the Cloudkeep team is looking for a Developer to join them. The software is the core of the business, therefore you will, as a Developer, play a vital role in the company and help them see results quickly; as such, this is a perfect role for a motivated, independent and experienced developer who is looking for freedom to make his / her own programming decisions.

More specifically, as the next Developer at Cloudkeep you will help migrate the legacy PHP application to Laravel (which has partially been done already), create new features and optimise the programme. You will work together with the founder, Tom, to improve the product & create a good development environment.

In order to excel in this role, you need to have:

• Solid experience with Laravel, PHP and MySQL
• Basic Front-End knowledge (HTML / CSS)
• Experience with migrating legacy applications
• Experience with MVC setup
• Great communication skills and willingness to communicate through the issues
• Solid problem-solving skills
• Great work ethic and reliability
