About the company

English with Lucy is an online language school with over 16 million followers across social media. It started 7 years ago as a YouTube channel and now consists of a tight-knit remote team of 15 people who adore creating awesome social media content and incredible online English courses! Our aim is to teach English in a fun and structured way that provides people with skills that will ultimately improve all aspects of their lives (work/career opportunities, meeting new people and improving personal skills). We have big plans for 2024 and at the forefront of this is building our own Data and Marketing team. If successful, you'll be working closely with our CFO, William Simkins.

About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our new Data and Marketing team. This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of one of the leading companies in the online English language learning space. You will be responsible for:

• Managing and optimising our KPI tracking systems
• Analysing data and presenting financial, product and customer behaviour insights to help improve marketing campaigns and course user experience
• Automating current processes for data collection to easily communicate key information
• Planning, implementing and analysing A/B split-testing across our course funnels

About you

To be successful, you must:

• Be an Excel/Sheets genius! We’ve managed to get by so far, but now we need someone who really knows what they’re doing.
• Have exceptional data tracking and analysis skills, including a good grasp of statistics.
• Proficient with data collection tools and analysis software (GA4)
• Have a strong understanding of automating data collection within Excel/Sheets. Bonus points if you can help build automated dashboards.
• Have a clear communication style: you are able to explain technical and complex topics in a way that is easy for non-technical team members to understand.
• Boast strong organisational and time management skills.
• Have a high level of self-drive and motivation to constantly improve.
• Have a problem-solving mindset and solution-driven approach to all aspects of work.
• Have a good level of English. We’re not looking for grammar perfection; we just need to be able to talk and understand each other easily.
• Have a strong internet connection. This is a completely remote position.

Bonus Points if you have:

• A good understanding of Data Visualization software (Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with CRM and Automation tools (ConvertKit)
• Experience working with course hosting platforms (Teachable)
• Experience working with funnel software (ClickFunnels, Thrivecart)
• Previous experience in using SQL platforms.
• Previous experience in using coding platforms (Python, R)

What we can offer you:

A competitive monthly salary plus biannual bonuses (subject to company performance).
For this role we are offering between $2500-$3500 per month, depending on experience.
