About the role

We are looking for a talented Video Editor who specialises in Facebook Ads. Working on a part-time basis, we are looking for someone passionate about video design on this platform. 

The successful candidate will be supporting us in the ideation and creation of engaging, attractive and high-performing video/animated ads across social channels. You need to be ambitious and ready to work in a fast-paced environment and you must be an excellent team player.

💪 What you’ll be responsible for:

• Manipulating and editing video footage, always understanding the given brief
• Reviewing shooting script and raw materials
• Inputting music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Creating rough and final cuts
• Ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running
• Consulting with stakeholders from production to post-production process
• Continuously discovering and implementing new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritise and drive forward multiple projects at a time

About you

🏠 Can you find yourself here?

• 2+ years creating commercial video/animated content for brands or ads preferably. A proven track record of delivering effective video/animated content for complex communication campaigns.
• Strong video editing and motion graphics skills using Adobe Premier, After Effects and Photoshop as well as Illustrator in order to mix film, audio & music with moving graphics to communicate effectively.
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Proven experience in a digital creative environment
• Super organised and professional
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Impeccable attention to detail

Essential:

• We’re looking for someone with an excellent eye for detail – ensuring all work leaving the Production department is of the highest standard possible, continuously reviewing work, and striving to improve the quality of creative work in our company
• You will have a proven ability to explain your creative thinking, and guide stakeholder decisions
• You will be curious – constantly keeping up to date on latest trends, innovations and progression in design.
• You will always maintain a positive and solution-based attitude.
