→ Tom (Founder & CEO) - 20 years corporate experience in the USA and Europe. Started CareerNerds 3 years ago in Prague and grew it to 300+ clients, all of them are in the USA. He leads strategy, operations, business day by day and makes decisions regarding company future

→John and Scott (Networking coaches) - in the US: work with their US-based clients and help them on their Networking efforts; experienced Career Coaches

→Adrijana (LinkedIn coach and project coordinator) - in Montenegro: handles LinkedIn coaching with clients, plans and executes weekly projects.

→Joanna (Customer success coordinator) - in North Macedonia: Handles all client support, as well as daily and weekly operations and processes

→Aleks (LinkedIn marketing) - in Serbia: Aleks and her team handle a part of client support, by executing Lead Generation strategies.

CareerNerds team are looking for a Customer Success & Operations Manager to join them and help them provide a better service to their current and future clients.

This role consists of speaking to US-based clients and coaches, monitoring client progress, improving the coach/client relationship and managing internal projects.

You will cooperate closely with the rest of the team, and will report to Tom (Founder and Head Coach), while making sure that clients are happy, satisfied and making progress in the coaching program.

Key priorities of your role will include:

→ Communication skills: Email, LinkedIn, Slack and communication over Zoom will be key responsibilities. Speaking to clients and team in USA, as well as the European team.

→ Monitoring client progress: Keeping track of all clients, their progress, and materials that are needed in order to serve them on a high level

→ Building and maintaining a CRM system: Currently, CareerNerds uses ClickUp as our CRM. You will optimize how we use ClickUp where we put all our projects and client information.

→ Support: Providing support for clients’ questions and proactively reaching out to them. Improving the coaching experience from a process standpoint. Also, providing help to coaches and helping them follow client progress.

In your first weeks of the role, you will:

  1. Take part in the onboarding and training for your responsibilities and tasks
  2. You’ll meet all team members, and you’ll work closely with them to get to know the overall culture and processes
  3. You will find spots in their system that can be automated, delegated and improved by the new CRM

Tools used to manage the workload & communicate with the team include:

  • G-Suite
  • Zoom
  • Calendly
  • Slack
  • ClickUp (CRM & Project Management tool)
  • You are a creative individual who communicates well and enjoys a small, close team
  • You appreciate flexibility, and you’re not being afraid to step out of your comfort zone and take up different asks
  • You have experience in process improvement including systems implementation and automation of manual processes
  • You have experience working with CRM tools (e.g., ClickUp, HubSpot)
  • You’re a self-starter and enjoy bringing new ideas to the table and implementing them
  • You’re organized and enjoy getting multiple data sources into one place
  • You have excellent spoken and written English. This is both an inward- and outward-facing role, and it requires well-spoken English, so the team will look for eloquent sounding candidates

Brownie points for experience with any or all of the following:

  • Knowledge of the following apps/tools: ActiveCampaign, Wix, LinkedIn, Canva
  • Extensive experience with CRM (like ClickUp) and customer success management

What’s in it for you?

  • Full-time role (8 hours per day 5 days per week); mostly flexible with at least two days per week of working until 7-8 PM CET to meet with the US-based clients
  • Monthly salary of $2000—$2500*
  • Year-end bonus
