Alex Horsman is a leading SEO Consultant and Content Marketer.
He currently runs a portfolio of seven affiliate sites and works with e-commerce and B2B companies in the 7,8, and 9-figure range.
Underneath him is a small yet high-achieving remote team. Each person on the team strives to become a better version of themselves both within work and outside of it.
While we remain extremely focused on the goals we set forth, we also believe in having fun along the way.
Do you love organization and processes, and are you willing to take action when no one else is?
How about helping improve systems and making sure people stay on task to reach the end goal?
If you answered yes to these questions, then read on.
My name is Alex Horsman and I'm looking for an amazing operations and executive assistant to help keep track of my work. These tasks include:
I'll be honest, I'm a systems and organization freak.
This is a good thing in some cases but also hinders me in other areas of life. I need someone who is comfortable with organization but more importantly, able to get shit done “GSD”
I suffer from “analysis by paralysis” and need someone who doesn't.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to work alongside someone who has been in SEO for 7+ years and who has landed 7,8, and 9-figure clients.
Not to mention the affiliate sites that I'm personally invested in.
You'll learn a TON regarding digital marketing and get a chance to see behind the scenes so you learn what actually gets a website to rank.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years as an executive or operations assistant but more importantly, fits the personality type below:
The work can be hard. The role involves you being action-oriented and making sure that all of our operations are running smoothly along with proper prioritization of tasks.
You MUST be able to support me and prioritize our tasks across multiple clients based on when they're due and given timelines.
There will be clear SOPs and systems for you to follow but there is always room for improvement within systems. You'll need to figure out where the bottlenecks are and how they can be removed.
My operating principle is “ask for forgiveness, not permission.”
Being a completely remote team, you can't always wait around for an answer. We're all on different timezones so going out and doing a bit of research on your own to determine the correct course of action goes a long way. We encourage our team to not wait for an answer but rather go and seek it out.
Oh, one more thing, you’ll need to have a good working knowledge of digital marketing. Specifically, SEO - the more you know, the better as it’ll really come in handy.
Requirements
Not only do you get to further develop a unique set of skills within the exciting world of online marketing, but you’ll gain invaluable SEO and operational skills. You'll learn cutting-edge tactics that actually get a website to rank, not the fluff you see online.
I'll give you a consistent, stable flow of work alongside world-class editorial tools to ensure you’re able to produce the best work with minimal bottlenecks. These tools include (but not limited to):
Benefits
Non-negotiables
This job opening is actively seeking the perfect candidate and will close once found. To ensure your application is considered, take the time to carefully read the job description and submit a high-quality application that stands out.
The hiring process for this position will include the following steps:
