About the role

As a Virtual Assistant for The British English Podcast, you will play an instrumental role in optimizing our operational efficiency and expanding our educational outreach. This position involves a diverse set of tasks that support both our podcast production and online learning platform. Your work will ensure the smooth operation of class scheduling, podcast production, social media management, and learner support, contributing directly to our mission of making English learning accessible, engaging, and effective.

Responsibilities

- Class and Podcast Scheduling:

• Coordinate class scheduling with teachers using Acuity, Learnworlds, and Google Calendar.
• Manage podcast episode scheduling through Megaphone and Asana.

- Content Coordination and Production Support:

• Reach out to other podcasters and social media ESL teachers for show appearances.
• Project manage the workflow of each podcast episode, coordinating between the editor, learning resources creator, course page builder, and communicating with learners.
• Maintain a schedule of all episodes in development using Asana.

- Social Media and Marketing:

• Populate social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) with video clips generated by AI on Riverside.fm.
• Manage and rotate advertisements for free learning resources on Megaphone.
• Continue to use Canva templates for creating episode thumbnails.

- Learning Management and Support:

• Monitor and ensure timely marking of writing assignments on Learnworlds.
• Manage general email support and organize the inbox.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key tasks.

- Potential Additional Responsibilities:

• Update and manage email marketing sequences.
• Plan and oversee the annual schedule for email sequences.
