Are you ready to join a growing real estate company that’s continuously disrupting the industry and becoming a market leader? The vacant land space has been bought and sold the same way for hundreds of years, but now Discount Lots is fundamentally changing the way land is transacted across the country. They are a leading direct to consumer real estate company looking to hire a Social Media Manager.

As Discount Lots’ next Social Media Manager, you will:

• Manage posting, sharing, response and engagement on all social media accounts to create a positive brand experience.
• Monitor social media daily for insight, action, questions, comments, brand mentions, news, trending topics and thought leadership opportunities.
• Identify and develop relationships with influencers and user groups to support both content creation and community engagement in the land space.
• Identify and engage with key influencers to increase brand advocacy and use as a source of industry trends and maintain those relationships.
• Create branding programs and conduct outreach to people interested in purchasing land.
• Drive the narrative to how you can achieve the American Dream through owning land!

As Discount Lots’ next Social Media Manager, you need to have:

• 2+ years of social media marketing experience with an understanding of driving brand awareness and fundraising using social channels (TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn).
• Strong social media writing skills, with the ability to write social copy using a brand voice in a platform-specific style.
• A deep passion for an understanding of the social media universe with enthusiasm for learning and staying ahead of the curve on social media strategy and technological innovations.
• Passion for teamwork – you are comfortable working in a cross‐cultural global team environment
• Self-motivated attitude with strong communications, organizational and problem-solving skills; a positive, can-do attitude and high accountability.
• Technical proficiency in Google Workspace (with the ability to learn additional programs
• A stable Internet connection and the ability to attend regular virtual meetings as needed to coordinate with team members across time zones and comfortable at-home working
