Beauty by Earth is on the lookout for an exceptional Social Media Assistant to join its dynamic team and elevate the brand to new heights.

The primary purpose of the Social Media Assistant role is to reach out to influencers with a focus on the Amazon platform. As a crucial part of the business, the Social Media Assistant will be responsible for building and managing a strong network of influencers, handling the administrative process, and maintaining records of the collaborations and their outcomes. With solid branding and a growing interest in the company, the potential for success in this role is limitless.

The three most important responsibilities for this role include driving the growth of the social media presence, leveraging influencers to generate traffic, and boosting the marketplace channels' performance.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

  • 🔎 Reach out and engage with influencers on Instagram and TikTok.
  • 🎁 Provide influencers with products and clear instructions on the types of content the business is seeking.
  • 📣 Follow up to ensure videos and photos are posted as planned.
  • 🚀 Identify successful content and run ads to amplify their reach.

The Social Media Assistant will report directly to our Launch & Growth Manager and work closely with the Director of Marketplaces, the Marketplaces Team, the Launch Specialist, and the Social Media Manager. This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse team members and contribute to the overall success of the company.

The new Social Media Assistant will receive comprehensive training and support from the Launch & Growth Manager, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with various team members. This support will help you become familiar with the lineup of products, the roles of different team members, and the company culture.

During the initial weeks in the role, you can expect to undergo training, learn about the extensive product range, and become acquainted with various team members and their roles. This period will provide a strong foundation for future success in the position, ensuring a smooth transition and effective contribution to the company's objectives.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • An extroverted personality and willingness to communicate with influencers.
  • A passion for social media and extensive experience in posting and interacting with people on various platforms (1-3 years).
  • Proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in Social Media Advertising (1 year) and Microsoft Excel (1 year).
  • The ability to collaborate with the team and come up with innovative ideas to scale efforts.
  • A smart, strategic, and forward-thinking mindset.

It would be nice (but not essential) for you to have:

  • ManyChat (chatbot) experience for building flows.
  • Amazon Seller Central experience (having worked for another seller).

  • ⏰ Flexible working schedule: You must have at least 5 working hours within the 10 am - 1 pm period of EST, with approximately 1 hour each day on Saturday and Sunday (these hours can be taken off other days of the week)
