Senior Amazon Marketplace Manager [CLOSED]

With over 120 employees, the brand has seen substantial growth in recent years, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a dynamic and growth-focused work environment!

Posh Peanut is currently looking for a Senior Amazon Marketplace Manager to grow their customer base by increasing their overall visibility on Amazon and making Amazon a larger percentage of overall company revenue and profit.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the marketing and sales initiatives on all Amazon marketplaces to grow top-line revenue
  • Manage Amazon inventory needs – collaborate closely with our distribution centre to plan shipments, find efficiencies, and prevent out-of-stock
  • Manage the Amazon P&L and devise strategies to increase sales, conversion rates, and profitability
  • Manage the Amazon team and formulate new sales projections for the Leadership team
  • Build out the processes and team members to support the growth of the company

During the first few weeks, you will receive training on the product catalogue, the brand and what makes Posh Peanut unique compared to other baby brands. However, they are looking for someone highly experienced in Amazon who will lead the Amazon growth initiatives.

This is a full-time position, and you have flexible hours in your time zone as long as you are able to have roughly 4 hours of overlap with the company headquarters in Los Angeles on PST to attend various Executive Team meetings during the week.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Amazon Marketplace Manager or a similar leadership role
  • Good understanding of Helium 10, Data Dive and Scale Insights
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize strategies for optimal growth
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and voice your opinions to company leadership

Bonus points for:

  • Experience working for a brand with a large catalogue (2000+ SKUs)
  • Experience working for a baby or apparel brand
  • Experience working for a Private Label brand doing 8+ figures annually
  • Experience working for a large retail brand that primarily sold in Retail/Shopify, especially helping grow the Amazon portion of the business

The ideal candidate is someone who excels in maximizing sales on Amazon, using both organic and paid methods, all while maintaining a strong focus on profit margins. You need to be data-driven and possess analytical skills, with strong financial acumen.
