Sales Development Representative [CLOSED]

Processes, systems, diligence and being proactive all help their operations move forward with a quality-obsessed approach.

Their international team, located in England, Wales, Serbia. Poland and Tenerife, has expanded to around 20 members in only 3 and a half years. Always acting with honesty and integrity has helped build a strong team and stronger client relationships.

To accommodate their rapid growth, the Rock Roofing team are looking for a new Sales Development Representative to join their team & facilitate further growth. You will be responsible for your own region within the UK & have a direct impact on the growth of a forward-thinking company.

In this role, you will:

  • Learn products and systems
  • Generate new flat roof enquiries independently
  • Find and contact qualified leads
  • Identify target projects, regions and customers & do research
  • Manage the CRM and ensure timely submission of quotations
  • Build solid customer relationships with repeat enquiries
  • Complete PQQs
  • Process enquiries
  • Identify process issues and then develop and improve processes
  • Seek out new opportunities: markets, products, and systems
  • Ensure revenue KPIs are met

Within this role, you will have access to an approximately 3-month long development programme with monthly check-ins and programme monitoring. In your first week with Rock Roofing, alongside your training, you will make initial calls trying to generate business and use a research database to find compatible projects.

Tools used for communication & work management include:

  • MS Office Suite
  • Pipedrive

As an ideal candidate for this position, you need to have:

  • 3 years of experience with cold calling, emailing and/or lead generation
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to build rapport, solid customer relationships and familiarity quickly over the phone
  • Solid knowledge of CRM systems
  • Computer literacy and experience with MS Office
  • Ability to grasp new knowledge and absorb information quickly
  • Analytical skills and the ability to structure and process data and draw insightful conclusions from it
  • Process-driven mindset
  • Efficiency, strong work ethic & persistence
  • A proactive attitude & ability to identify and mitigate risk
  • Ability to follow through on commitments & achieve and exceed KPIs
