THE JOB

What will you do

We are looking for a pragmatic, innovative, and self-motivated professional software tester. If you have a natural optimism and believe that awesome technology can change the world; ready to successfully lead a greenfield project in automated testing with a real passion for both manual and automated testing then this job ad may be a great solution for you.

You will be working across iOS, Android and web platforms. Selenium will likely be your most favoured tool. The engineering team will be using Javascript, Node.js and React and knowledge of these is beneficial to enable you to ensure our product is tested to the highest level.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Tech Lead to lead the development of our automated testing environment
• Ensuring new functions and features in our core platform and apps are safely tested and shipped to the highest standard
• Driving the quality assurance of each products new functionality and features, ensuring best practices are followed
• Collaborating with QA analysts, Developers, Product Managers, UX Research & Designers and to identify and document success criteria along with test scenarios
• Finding and reporting issues in a clear and accurate manner
• Provide feedback and steps to recreate issues back to developers
• Run bug reviews
• Calling out bottlenecks and blockers for testing to ensure that mitigation is effectively managed

Requirements:

• 3+ years of QA manual and automated testing experience across multiple products
• Experience using JIRA and ClickUp
• Experience in front-end and API testing
• Commercial awareness and understands the business value of solving our user’s problems
• Finding ways to improve our testing capabilities continuously
• Comfortable with flexible and changing priorities
• A highly collaborative, visible, and inclusive approach
• Solid skill and style in verbal and written communications

Nice to have:

• Preferred, but not essential, experience working with React/JavaScript
• A good understanding of cloud computing such as AWS
• Familiarity with VCS, preferably Git
