๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ“ˆ Are you a PPC Specialist looking to join a dynamic team of digital marketing experts? Look no further than Big Sea! As their PPC Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing PPC accounts, creating campaign strategies, and optimising paid search across multiple channels.

Big Sea is looking for a strategic thinker who knows how to leverage data to surface actionable insights. You're hungry to learn and always seeking ways to stand out from the crowd. You'll work closely with the Account Strategist and Assistant Digital Media Buyer to produce buzz-worthy campaigns that get noticed.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

  • ๐Ÿ” Be responsible for the ongoing management of paid search across paid media clients.
  • ๐ŸŽฏ Work with the Paid Media Strategist to identify appropriate goals, KPIs, target segments, and creative requirements for successful PPC campaigns.
  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Use these goals as a framework to create, deploy, and manage PPC campaigns across the search.
  • ๐Ÿค Collaborate with media specialists, creative services, and content specialists to ensure copy and content are aligned with keyword and campaign strategies and that all teams are subscribing to PPC and analytics best practices.
  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ Manage client budgets to drive qualified traffic and conversions consistently and efficiently.
  • ๐Ÿ“… Maintain ongoing PPC plans for clients to outline optimisation activities, promotions, and creative content.
  • ๐Ÿงช Align client needs with new product betas to ensure new tools and methodologies are being presented to clients.
  • ๐Ÿš€ Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to current clients.
  • ๐Ÿ’ผ Support business development initiatives for prospective digital marketing clients by contributing to the creation of presentations and proposals.
  • ๐Ÿ“Š Help to assess and administer the technology, data, and tracking needs to measure and report on performance across campaigns.
  • ๐ŸŒฑ Grow understanding of paid tactics and strategies through regular industry research.
  • ๐Ÿ“‹ Responsible for managing multiple accounts at one time based on size, complexity, and capacity.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in search engine marketing, including bid monitoring, adjustment of paid search campaigns, defining terms, and writing effective copy.
  • Leadership qualities such as attention to detail, strong work ethic, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical skills for gathering, analyzing, summarising, and presenting data.
  • Creativity in identifying target audiences and devising engaging digital campaigns.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, actively seeking feedback from various subject matter experts.
  • Data-driven thinking and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online SEM marketing and measurement.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills; bonus if experienced with Asana or other project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Looker Studios, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Multi-funnel media plan creation and forecasting.
  • Proactive problem-solving and adaptability skills
  • Data-driven decision-making and trend analysis.
  • Experience with split testing and optimisation as well as weekly creative testing experience
  • Large budget management experience

Brownie points for:

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Google Analytics Certifications.
