Headquartered in Amsterdam, Shopceed is a fully remote company focused on developing niche SaaS applications to help small eCommerce teams become sustainable and profitable. Led by a current e-commerce business owner, Reginald Ofori, the team aims to create very specific software that provides digitally native entrepreneurs and senior managers with the practical tools to build and scale their small businesses.

The team consists of ten employees who are primarily freelancers based in the CET time zone. As the company is actively working on developing and marketing multiple SaaS products, the development team of each product often consists of just 1 or 2 team members. This allows all team members to work efficiently and independently and reduces the need for any meetings or check-ins. But as the products being developed cater to the same target audience, teams actively collaborate with each other whenever needed.

It’s also important to feel happy and productive, so there is a lot of flexibility in creating your own schedule and deciding on your own working hours. There aren’t a lot of meetings and it’s not important to work as many hours as you possibly can - what matters are the results. Shopceed wants to help business owners with their practical needs, so you will get to work on projects knowing the customers will love using the tools you create!

Right now, the company is looking for an Outreach Manager to manage lead generation and research prospects.

The company plans to do a lot of cold outreach via email and posts, and needs someone who can manage the work done by external contracts hired via Fiverr and Upwork. You will also need to manage setting up cold outreach campaigns (using scripts developed by an external consultant) and keep an eye on their performance, reaching out for Zoom calls with potential prospects.

This role requires experience, as you will be expected to hit the ground running. Right now, the company is working on building their own software to streamline the lead generation work, so you may also work with the designer to adjust the system based on your experience. However, most of your time will be dedicated to increasing the number of contractors for lead generation, and selecting the best performing contracts while coaching or removing others.

You will report to the managing director and communicate with external contractors who perform most of the lead research. This is a full-time position with some flexibility, but you need to have at least four hours overlap between 10.00 - 17.00 CET.


To be a successful candidate, you need:

  • 2+ years of managing lead generation in a lead generation agency or similar
  • Experience in lead generation work
  • Understanding of the nuances of determining the right prospects by taking in all publicly available resources
  • Understanding of how a job title could help identify the right person for pitching
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Understanding of cold outreach email software
  • Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets & Project Management software
  • Excellent English skills

Bonus points for any experience in virtual assisting and/or experience in setting up a similar department in an agency or another startup!
