The three co-founders lead the way, with the CTO based in the United States and the CEO and COO embracing a nomadic lifestyle primarily in Southeast Asia or Latin America.

Expanding the company's reach further, DropInBlog has a dedicated writing team stationed in Eastern Europe, along with a part-time developer and two part-time customer service representatives based in Pakistan. Additionally, the company collaborates with talented contract-based team members located in various regions such as Serbia, Dubai, and Thailand.

The Marketing Manager role at DropInBlog is a full-time position with a focus on driving the company's marketing initiatives and overseeing the content creation team. Reporting primarily to Laura, the COO, and secondarily to Jesse, the CEO, the Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the content team consisting of a writer and two editors, as well as the graphic designer and screencast editor.


In this role, you will be:

  • Managing the content team to create blog posts related to topics surrounding website builders, ensuring high-quality and engaging content.
  • Researching and integrating DropInBlog with various website platforms while performing and documenting the integration process.
  • Building demo sites for new integrations.
  • Creating a newsletter for customers featuring new features and tips.
  • Creating blog posts and social media content for new feature and integration launches.
  • Adding information about new features to integration, app, module, and marketplace listing pages.
  • Incorporating information about new features into the website frontend.
  • Developing support documentation for new features and overseeing the QA process.
  • Reviewing customer support requests and creating missing support documentation and SOPs for the support team.
  • Guiding and assisting the support team in providing better support.
  • Developing and creating blog posts, social media content, newsletter content, website verbiage, and support documentation for new feature releases.
  • If possible be a presence in platform-specific Facebook groups and on LinkedIn.

The onboarding will involve chat, audio, video, and email communication with Laura, who will guide you through the fundamentals of the product, current projects, and the management of related teams. The training will progress from essential tasks to additional responsibilities, starting with the most crucial aspects and gradually expanding to cover the "dream list."

The Marketing Manager role is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week. DropInBlog prefers the employee to work a general Monday-to-Friday schedule, maintaining approximately the same 8 hours of output each day. Flexibility is offered for taking time off during normal working hours, with the option to make up the hours outside of regular hours or on weekends.

To excel in this role, you need to be/have:

  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and a knack for documenting processes.
  • Proficient in managing teams while effectively handling your own tasks.
  • A self-starter who is proactive in conducting research and making decisions independently.
  • Able to maintain professionalism and output during work hours, with the ability to separate work and personal life.
  • Passionate about your role and dedicated to continuous growth and contribution.
  • Strong written English skills, as you will oversee a writing team and engage in written communication.
  • Basic HTML skills to navigate website builders and perform tasks like inserting code into HTML blocks.
  • Familiarity with no-code website builders and newsletter programs, with the ability to learn and adapt to new platforms.
  • Excellent project management abilities, capable of managing a small team and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Excited about marketing and able to propose new ideas/initiatives and see them through.
