We’re looking for a software engineer to build a Node.js-backed database.

We need a full-stack software engineer to map out and build a Node.js-backed database which defines, captures, and stores current and historical data for a variety of source APIs (e.g. Google Analytics / Facebook Pages) for an existing web application. Data will be queried post-capture for analysis.

To own this project candidates will have:

• Demonstrable experience building software that leverages API endpoints and data sources.
• Comfort setting a product roadmap and a vision for execution.
• Ability to integrate working code into existing prototype, working directly with LooseGrip engineers.

Ideally the candidate would also have:

• Experience or ability to pick up Node, Express, MongoDB, etc.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments.
• Academic background in computer science (BS or MS) or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to write your code with an eye towards maintainability and scalability.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, Keras, Torch, etc.)
• Experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines and/or distributed Machine Learning.
• Effective leadership and influencing skills in the application of AI or Machine Learning
