As a Head of SEO, the purpose is to lead and support the SEO team, consisting of both technical SEOs and on-page copywriters. In this hands-on capacity, you will actively engage in client work, handling inquiries and ensuring seamless progress of tasks. The expectation is for the candidate to streamline team communication, promptly addressing queries and collaborating with other agency teams, including the development team when necessary. Moreover, as the Head of SEO, you will take charge of and participate in client meetings, whether they involve new projects or ongoing collaborations.

πŸ“‘ Analyse SEO data and offer recommendations to enhance the performance of clients' websites.

πŸ’Ό Collaborate with marketing teams to understand, analyse, and implement effective strategies that align with and complement other channels.

πŸ—“οΈ Offer recommendations and execute strategies for content development.

🧾 Conduct keyword research aligned with client business objectives to optimise existing content and identify new opportunities.

πŸ“¦ Oversee reports and provide insights to both clients and the team based on data.

Working Hours ⏰: Full time with an overlap of 4 hours PT time.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

βœ… Possess strong analytical skills, coupled with expertise in advertising and marketing.

βœ… Have a minimum of 8 years in a senior SEO role.

βœ… Have a minimum of 5 years in a team management role.

βœ… Demonstrate solid experience in both technical and on-page SEO.

βœ… Showcase proven experience in preparing and executing SEO strategies, primarily for Google.

βœ… Exhibit proficiency in Google Analytics (both UA and GA4), TagManager, Search Console, and Google Business.

βœ… Display competence in optimising WordPress sites, coupled with a good understanding of code, especially as it relates to Core Web Vitals (CWV) and general optimisation.

βœ… Demonstrate expertise in Core Web Vitals and the ability to provide key insights for optimisation improvement.

βœ… Exhibit solid experience in Conversion Optimisation.
