Experienced SEO Strategy Manager [CLOSED]

The training includes digital marketing courses, coaching from senior marketers, and working directly with global brands to make an impact on their strategy.

We are looking for an experienced SEO Strategist (3 years of experience minimum) who will provide value to clients in the form of high-quality SEO strategy and analysis. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves operating in a space where data analytics and creative strategy development collide.

The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience managing complex client projects, along with an array of tools they’ve developed for achieving marketing success and maximising the value provided to clients.

The perfect candidate will have a proven track record as a team leader and be a problem-solver who can tackle challenges head-on by independently directing a team of SEO professionals to execute an SEO strategy that you develop and spearhead.

More specifically, within this role, you will:

• Look across our SEO client projects to identify risks, challenges, opportunities, successes, and areas of improvement and work with the Client Services Manager to resolve
• Proactively develop, adapt, and evolve SEO strategies to fit the needs of our clients at large
• Serve as the analyst team’s go-to resource for questions related to SEO strategy or client management
• Focus on process development and management to operationalize scalable strategies that work for our clients
• Direct a team of project managers and analysts on the execution of each client’s SEO strategy
• Work with analysts to create high-quality and actionable deliverables that clients will love
• Stay abreast of the newest marketing trends and strategies, as well as of the latest updates to Google’s ranking algorithms
• Create actionable SEO deliverables and strategies that meet our clients at their level of understanding
• Attend regular client check-in calls to address their concerns and explain the complex subject matter
• Develop and lead link-building campaigns
• Leverage data to help shape the agency’s ever-evolving SEO processes
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Mine Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, and other SEO tools to identify high-level opportunities and new initiatives

To excel as our Senior SEO Strategist, you need to have experience with:

• Keyword research
• On-page optimisation & SEO
• Technical SEO
• Link building
• Content strategy
• Coaching a team
• Client communication and management
• SEO tools, including (but not limited to) Ahrefs, Moz, SemRush, Screaming Frog, Deepcrawl

Position requirements:

• Fluency in written and verbal English for a business setting
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 3 years of SEO experience
• Client management experience
• The ability to identify high-level opportunities for the agency and act on them, including:
  • Process improvements that boost efficiency and improve results
  • New services the agency should offer
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Mastery of client project management best practices
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google spreadsheets with the ability to put together detailed reports and perform complex analysis
• Experience in managing multiple tasks and priorities
• Well-organised and detail-oriented
• Avid learner
• Strong G Suite or Microsoft Office Suite skills
