Content Promotion Specialist [CLOSED]

American SEO Agency specializes in the management of SEO campaigns and content marketing for eCommerce brands and software companies in the United States and Europe. Notable clients include Citizen Watch, Frederique Constant, Bulova, Goat.com, and various other global brands.

Continuous SEO and digital marketing training opportunities are provided to enhance individuals' skills and advance their careers. The team dedicates hundreds of hours to training, encompassing digital marketing courses, guidance from senior marketers, and hands-on collaboration with global brands to influence their strategies.

The purpose of this role is to promote and share content that increases organic visibility, generates client leads, and strengthens partner relationships. You will spend your time publishing content and reaching out to potential content partners to request mutually beneficial content marketing partnerships. The company is looking for someone with knowledge of the existing influencers, events, publications, conferences, and webinars in the digital marketing space.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prospect for content promotion opportunities and relationships
  • Create and manage the content calendar
  • Publish content for the Fire&Spark website including case studies, articles, landing pages, and lead magnets. Experience with website publishing isn't necessary - you will be trained on the navigation of our website backend when/if necessary.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns in Active Campaign
  • Participate in external calls to learn more about our audience (i.e attend a sales call)
  • Collaborate with the team to identify client trends and content ideas
  • Provide project management support for our content marketing activities
  • Search for chances to promote content and build relationships.

Working Hours ⏰: Full time. It's essential to have a mandatory overlap from 9 am to 1 pm ET.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

✅ Demonstrated experience in a content-related position.

✅ Knowledge of content marketing best practices.

✅ The skill to grasp and align content with the company’s content strategy and messaging.

✅ Fluent English

✅ While not primarily a writing role, content will be produced by the company’s staff. However, proficiency in proofreading and revising content is essential.

✅ Robust project management capabilities.

✅ The ability to spot and leverage content promotion opportunities.

✅ Competence in creating and managing content calendars.

Brownie Points for:

✅ A BSc degree in Marketing, Journalism, or a relevant field.

✅ Prior experience with email marketing campaigns, preferably using Active Campaign.

✅ Familiarity with tools like Canva, Descript, or similar for editing visuals.

✅ Basic understanding of AI tools and the ability to identify ways to integrate them into workflows.
