I am Angus Nelson, the founder of EvolveMen Coaching and I am looking for a Business Manager to help us be more organized and efficient.

The work we do with men is creating better leaders, dads, husbands, and fathers… our clients become more conscious, aligned, self-aware, and happy.

You are someone who has energy, focus, and initiative. You love a good challenge and enjoy systems and processes like a footballer loves winning the world cup.

We want someone who is available for 20 hours per week, and is happy to help us with managing a variety of projects including: event organization, a podcast team, our social media management, the editorial for email newsletter, and more… you will not have to do these, but you will create and own the systems for making sure these get done efficiently and effectively.

You MUST have experience in a similar role and really WANT to do this for the long term with the drive to grow a bigger role for yourself.

Being a remote company we don’t have an office but there are still lots of things for you to be looking after, helping things run smoothly, and ready to be hands-on doing occasional administrative tasks too.

  • Love details and creating systems and processes to get stuff done.
  • Resolve issues quickly and effectively - seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner
  • Not be afraid to lead, manage, and hold the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments
  • Thrive on figuring out HOW to do something and then working with a team to make it happen
  • Enjoy being handed ideas, making sense of them, and creating a way to execute them efficiently
  • Come to life when facing challenges and problems of many different sorts
  • Be comfortable in a fast-growing environment where things are rapidly changing - one day is not like the next and you’re agile enough to figure things out as you go
  • Ensure that everyone on the team is in the know

EvolveMen is looking for a Business Manager to manage the operations of the company.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with the CEO (Visionary) on short and long-term planning
  • Execute the business strategies, achieving or exceeding planned objectives
  • Manage projects and timelines of company initiatives, holding stakeholders responsible
  • Manage special event and retreat planning, ie booking venue and handling travel coordination details
  • Contractor management, hire and do outreach for the hiring of contractors to include: podcast production, content editorial, and social media management
  • Manage meeting agendas and assign tasks for team members
  • Help develop and manage overall systems and processes
  • Create standard operating procedures for all areas of the company
  • Establish a job description and SOPs for bringing on an Executive Assistant within the first 90 days.

During the first few weeks in the role, you will learn more about the company and work directly with the CEO on executing strategies and tasks.

  • $800 - $1200* per month
  • Fully remote and part-time position ~ 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Flexible working schedule; EvolveMen usually operates between 8 AM - 7 PM GMT. You have flexibility to structure your day within those hours, as long as there is overlap for internal meetings with team members as needed. Special events can be organized at different times, outside the normal scope of business hours.

*Please note that this is a gross salary and that you are responsible for any tax-related procedures in your country of residence. We kindly ask you to apply only if you are happy to work remotely as an independent contractor. Salary is negotiable.

Required

  • Experience as an operations, administrative or executive assistant
  • Experience managing email, travel, events and activities
  • An obsession with getting the details right and keeping things moving
  • An ability to operate independently and reliably accomplish tasks
  • Reliable Internet, Reliable computer, Noise Cancelling Headset
  • Knowledge of Google Suite to include Calendar, Docs, Sheets and Drive)
  • Excellent English skills (both written and spoken) & confidence to use English on phone calls, etc.
  • Knowledge of Canva, Slack, and Zoom
  • Project management software experience, ex. ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, etc.
  • Experience working in online companies with remote team members

  • Tech-savvy
