As a Business Development Representative at Mowe Studio, you will be collaborating closely with Felippe, the Co-Founder and CEO, with the mission to drive strategic sales activities, foster prospect engagement, and open avenues for impactful opportunities.

In this role, you will:

  • Build prospect lists and gather key information.
  • Organise contact details for CRM integration.
  • Monitor CRM tasks and strategize follow-ups.
  • Craft outreach scripts and identify key connections.
  • Engage in LinkedIn communities and share insights.
  • Import and update CRM data, and initiate email campaigns.
  • Prepare call scripts and set engagement objectives.
  • Identify warm prospects and channel them for action.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and engage in communities.
  • Compile conference lists, and support in arranging meetings.
  • Attend network events and share potential opportunities.
  • Gather and analyse data metrics.
  • Contribute to data-driven strategies and sales process refinement.

It’s important to note that Mowe Studio has an established marketing system, built through articles, whitepapers, webinars, a dynamic YouTube channel, and a strong social media presence. This advantage can boost your sales efficiency compared to companies relying solely on sales efforts.

The onboarding process will involve training on the company’s motion graphics/animation practices and an overview of their current sales and business development efforts.

This is a full-time role, and ideally, the candidate should have a minimum of 4 hours of overlap with US EST between 8 AM and 5 PM, as the primary target market is in that time zone. Additionally, occasional flexibility to accommodate calls during PST work hours on the West Coast may be required as needed.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in sales or business development – Mowe Studio is looking for someone who knows the ropes and can hit the ground running.
  • Exceptional communication skills and excellent written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems. While experience with Pipedrive is a plus, we can provide training. What's essential is your comfort in navigating CRM tools.
  • Tech-savvy mindset, as you'll need to seamlessly work with everyday software like Slack, Zoom, Google Docs, and more.

While not mandatory, having a workspace that ensures an excellent client experience through effective lighting, minimal background noise, and organised video call surroundings is a plus. You don't need fancy equipment, but knowing how to optimise your setup is a bonus!

The ideal candidate in this role is a dynamic communicator who is hungry for growth, and quick to adapt to new challenges. You need to value the human touch in communication, showing empathy and a readiness to support the clients!
