I'm a fan of asynchronous working styles where communications are done via email or slack, with meetings being a last resort. Instead of micromanaging, I only care about output. If the feature works, edge cases are handled, and the code is clean… then the work is a success, not whether you spent 8.4 hours or 10.1 hours doing something.
