In this role, you'll become Alex’s voice, and your mission will be to transform his ideas and video content into engaging, impactful, and polarising narratives that resonate with our audience. It's not just about transcribing videos and turning them into coherent texts; it's about understanding Alex's tone, his backstory, and adopting his style. If you can write like you've been in Alex's shoes, then we're interested in hearing from you.

Our niche is unique - we work with affiliate site owners, but rather than simply focusing on SEO tips, we primarily assist our clients with business operations and building systems.

Therefore, you also need to have an understanding of the SEO and affiliate marketing world, with your real talent being your ability to weave stories around these topics and translate ideas into compelling social media posts.

As our Social Media Writer, your specific tasks will require you to:

• 🎙️ Master Alex's distinctive tone, effectively converting his ideas and video content into compelling copy, as well as incorporate Alex’s voice and values into your writing style;
• 📑 Dissect daily (video) topics and ideas into subtopics to maintain a stream of fresh, relevant content;
• 💼 Create engaging LinkedIn content, adapt it and share it across other social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook;
• 🚀 Showcase your initiative by continually optimising and improving content and processes as you progress;
• 🎨 Collaborate with Alex’s Executive Assistant to create visually engaging social media posts, leveraging pre-existing Canva templates;
• 📊 Use a data-centric approach to drive success, striving for a consistent increase in engagement across all social media platforms;
• 📬 Ensure the growth of Alex’s email newsletter subscriber base through social media content

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Writer with a knack for translating ideas into compelling copy; therefore, to excel in this role, you need to have:

• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken;
• Strong knowledge of the optimal writing styles for various social media platforms – you know exactly how to tweak your content based on the platform it will be shared on (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.);
• Solid SEO and affiliate marketing experience with a good understanding of industry operations;
• An action-oriented and detail-focused approach with the ability to make progress without hand-holding;
• An understanding of the 80:20 principle and the ability to identify and focus on the tasks that will yield the biggest impact;
• A positive, genuine and honest personality with the ability to contribute to a pleasant and productive team atmosphere;
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to take true ownership of your role and make things happen without needing to be asked;
• Willingness to continuously learn as you grow into your role.

It would be great, but not essential, for you to also have:

• The ability to automate and optimise the scheduling of posts across various social media platforms, ideally with Buffer;
• Prior experience with project management tools, ideally, ClickUp;
• Experience with Canva and the ability to create carousels and visuals that complement your copy effectively.
