SEO Team Lead [CLOSED]

As SEO Team Lead, you will be responsible for the proactive development and implementation of effective organic search strategies across a wide range of clients and industries. You will be working closely with the business owner to develop scalable processes that allow our SEO offering to evolve and service more clients more efficiently at scale.

We are looking for someone who is analytical and process-driven with a passion for identifying and implementing data-driven decisions.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• The main responsibility of this role will be SEO process development and implementation across our core service offering.
• Technical SEO; auditing, overseeing implementation and measurement of success (or failure) of activities.
• Content coordination; overseeing the creation of new content from keyword research, to live alongside the optimisation of existing content.
• Offpage SEO; anchor planning & digital PR
• Reporting; overseeing the consumption of data and translating into actionable activities.
• Support the upskilling of the SEO Executive and SEO Copywriter through mentorship, training and delegation of BAU tasks.
• Acting as a key stakeholder for new website and product development from a best-practice SEO perspective

About You:

As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:

• A strong understanding of searcher intent and keyword cannibalisation
• Comprehensive knowledge of the search engine marketplace with a proven track record of success in SEO ranking; increased lead generation and overall sales performance
• Experience in working with the following SEO tools; AHREFS, SurferSEO, SEMRush, Buzzstream, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb & Google Search Console
• Experience in using CMS systems like WordPress and Shopify alongside a basic understanding of HTML. Experience using custom PHP frameworks would be advantageous.
• Highly experienced and technically proficient in the use of Google Search Console
• In addition, you will be creative and innovative in your approach with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for the digital world.
• Experience in people management is preferred but not essential
