We are seeking a Senior Sales Development Rep with a passion for growth and innovation to join our dynamic team at Growth Partners Media. We are a small but rapidly growing marketing agency based in the UK, delivering top-tier link-building services to clients worldwide, primarily focusing on early-stage to Series B software companies.

As the Sales Development Lead at Growth Partners Media, you will have significant prior experience in the SDR role and play a critical role in generating new business opportunities and expanding our client base. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads, as well as working closely with our talented young team who are dedicated to achieving excellence while maintaining a relaxed, fun working environment.

This is an industry-leading opportunity with the ability to earn far beyond an average salary as a Sales Development Representative. With achievable (conservative) OTEs of €3000 - €5000 per month. €36,000 - €60,000 per annum.

This role is a contract opportunity.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Contact and qualify potential customers using outbound methods with a primary focus on using the phone.
  • Using tools like Slack, Linkedin, Salesmate, Instantly, and Apollo to connect, nurture and convert cold prospects into paying customers.
  • Conducting targeted prospect research to build a robust pipeline of leads and book sales calls for the Founder to close (you may also have to close some calls yourself).
    • There’s no hard sell here. We don’t even consider that we ‘sell’ at all. People come to us looking for help, we guide them on the right path, explain how we can help and if it’s a good fit then they choose to work with us.
    • If you’re looking to use your energy, empathy and enthusiasm for helping businesses to grow then we’re keen to hear from you.
  • Creating and implementing effective outreach strategies, including email sequences, LinkedIn campaigns and outbound calling to engage and connect with potential clients.
  • Handling responses and following up with prospects in a timely and professional manner.
  • Working closely with the Founder to develop and refine messaging and positioning for all forms of outreach.
  • Conducting qualification calls with prospects to identify their needs and pain points, and to determine if our services are a good fit.
  • Reach out to existing customers via email and video messages including:
    • Following up on sales calls with relevant information to keep us front of mind and trigger purchases sometimes many months and repeated contacts after an initial sales call.
    • Ask for and receive referrals and introductions to new potential clients, contacting them and introducing them to Growth Partners and what we do
  • Take ownership of the CRM and populate the system with information following your customer calls and interactions
    • You’ll be constantly looking for ways to improve our processes whether through improved scripts, systems or automations within our tools
    • Having the right information at the right time is key so our systems and processes need to support this whilst still being easy to use and maintain.
  • Continuously monitor, analyse, and optimise your outreach efforts to improve results.
  • To meet (or exceed) monthly performance targets, including leads generated, meetings booked, and new clients won.
  • Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to develop your skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends

Requirements

In order to excel as our Senior SDR, you need to have great energy and experience with:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative, Business Development, or similar role.
  • Confident calling up prospects on the phone and handling objections effectively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience with email marketing and LinkedIn automation tools.
  • Proficiency in using CRM, project management, and communication tools (e.g., Slack, Asana, Google Sheets).
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and adaptability.
  • Comfortable working full-time hours as an independent contractor.
  • Brownie points for understanding link-building, SEO, and content marketing principles.
  • Brownie points for experience working with online businesses, B2B SAAS.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Competence in B2B Sales - you will have been a top salesperson/producer in your previous roles without using hard-pressure sales tactics
  • Clarity - You will have clarity on what you want, how you like to work and where you want to go with your career.
  • Character - You'll be a helpful and friendly person, committed to working hard, getting results and being part of a great team to do so. We have a very strict no as$hole rule here at Growth Partners. You'll be able to handle rejection and recognise that not everyone says yes right away. If it's a fit then it'll come good. If it's not then no worries, you'll signpost them to someone that can help
  • Self-motivation & independence - You don't need a sales manager sitting over your shoulder pushing you all day every day, you're on the case and pushing yourself forward because you want to make a difference, get results and help the team and the business to grow.
  • Responsibility - from systems to client satisfaction you will take responsibility for making sure the right results happen.
  • Sales coordination - Sometimes you have to do the grunt work. Entering information into the CRM system, following up with clients, any and every task at all levels. Whilst the sales team will likely grow in the future right now you'll be doing everything required to make sales happen., just as our CEO does today.
