This is a historically under-served and overlooked patient population within traditional healthcare systems and we are revolutionizing the way these patients are treated and cared for.

Our team of experienced dietitians specializes in digestive diseases and disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, SIBO, and other gastrointestinal disorders. 

We also have psychology professionals and mindset coaches who work with our clients to address the emotional and mental aspects of managing chronic digestive disorders.

Diet vs Disease started in 2019, and we have since grown to a team of 35+ from all around the world, mainly the USA. Our clients are mainly in the USA, followed by Canada and Australia.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Appointment Setter to join our team. As an Appointment Setter at Diet vs Disease, your role will be to initiate outbound calls, meticulously qualify leads, and efficiently schedule sales appointments for our closing team. This position is designed for individuals who excel in creating and nurturing leads, thereby directly contributing to the enhancement of our sales pipeline and overall sales strategy.

Within this role, you will:

  • Conduct outbound calls to both qualified and unqualified leads with the aim of nurturing prospects to secure sales appointments for our closing team.
  • Skilfully manage and increase the number of call bookings from both qualified applications and broader lead sources, ensuring a steady flow of bookings for our sales team to close.
  • Closely collaborate with the Sales Manager to refine and implement call scripts, strategies, and approaches that enhance lead qualification and appointment setting processes.
  • Utilize CRM tools to meticulously track, organize, and follow up on leads, ensuring a systematic approach to lead management and conversion.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to understand and leverage promotional campaigns and lead generation efforts, aligning your outreach strategies accordingly.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms with the sales team to continuously refine and improve the appointment setting process, tailoring approaches to meet evolving market demands and client needs.
  • Regularly report to management on appointment setting performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate our value proposition during initial interactions.
  • Evaluate and streamline processes to improve efficiency and productivity across Appointment Setting operations.
  • Be autonomous, we do not micromanage.

Within this exciting and dynamic role, you’ll be working fully remotely with a talented and ambitious team of people who love doing what they do. You’ll play an important role within the organization, at the same time contributing to a future where those with digestive diseases get adequate care and support.

During the first few weeks, the team counts on your experience and you’ll be expected to hit the ground running, but you’ll have full support from the Sales Manager.

This is a full-time position, the majority of our prospects are based in the US so you’ll be expected to work within US timezones, between 9am-9pm EST, the later the better as people are more likely to pick up in the evening.

  • At least 1 year of experience in outbound sales calls or appointment setting, with a proven track record of successfully scheduling appointments for sales teams.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess and qualify leads, utilizing data to prioritize outreach efforts efficiently.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing and navigating CRM tools to track and organize leads, ensuring effective follow-up and conversion.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies to refine call scripts and approaches, optimizing the appointment setting process for higher conversion rates.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting ambitious goals.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English, necessary for engaging potential clients and coordinating with the sales team and other departments.
  • A self-motivated individual who thrives in autonomous roles, aspiring to take on increasing responsibilities and grow within the company.
