About the role / Requirements / What success looks like

We are seeking an experienced Paid Media Specialist to join our marketing team. As a Paid Media Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for paid ads as well as managing, testing, and implementing conversion points in the marketing funnel.

Within this role, you will:

  • Media buying and full-funnel strategy experience on the client side (in-house)
  • Create, manage and optimize paid media campaigns, including bid optimization, landing page optimization and email optimization
  • Create strong written conversion copy for ads, pages and email
  • Optimize the inbound funnel by implementing strategies to improve lead generation, conversion rates, and overall funnel efficiency via data-driven insights and rapid A/B tests
  • Knowledge of customer acquisition strategies from a targeting and creative perspective, and retention strategies in partnership with email and CRM
  • Analyze media performance in real-time to inform optimization strategies and report the rationale for campaign pivots to leadership
  • Increase conversion rates and drive marketing-qualified leads for our sales team
  • Data-driven mindset with an ability to interpret analytics and data to drive decisions and strategy
  • Fast mover with start-up mentality, eager to move quickly and work with a lean team
  • Highly curious, pro-active, and hungry! Always looking to learn and stay ahead of trends

Within this exciting and dynamic role, you’ll be working fully remotely with a talented and ambitious team of people who love doing what they do. You’ll play an important role within the organization, at the same time contributing to a future where more entrepreneurs can make a bigger impact.

During the first few weeks, the team counts on your experience and you’ll be expected to hit the ground running, but you’ll have full support from the CEO.

This is a full-time position, and you’ll need to have a minimum of 4 hours of overlap with American teams working within EST time zones.

About you / What you will bring to the table

To be a successful candidate, you need:

  • 2+ years of experience in managing paid ads and paid media campaigns
  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Previous experience making a significant contribution to the lead generation process and providing significant growth to the business
  • Proven track record of optimizing conversions and generating more leads
  • Knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Knowledge of conversion and optimization tools (e.g. WordPress, Keap)
  • Eagerness to take ownership and autonomy
  • Brownie points for having experience with ads targeting coaches

This role will play an integral part in growing the business, so it’s important that you’re a self-starter and a team player who can hold yourself and others accountable. You also need to have a positive attitude and get along well with others, as we will be expanding a digital marketing team around this role.
