Need a Website Designer who understands marketing / conversion principles (or is willing to learn!) Long term, project based. [CLOSED]

I'm looking to bring a new designer into my team. The position is long term and project based.

Quick Background

We are a web design agency that builds conversion focused websites. The most common scenario is an online service company that wants to generate more leads and enquiries.

We keep design and development separate, so we need a designer who can design the landing pages and home pages that will later be built in Wordpress using Genesis.

Ideally, you will have a good understanding of marketing and conversion. If not, you should be very excited about it and willing to learn.

Every page we build starts with a piece of copy. You will be given the copy, our design principles and some other guidelines, and are expected to work closely with the copy to create the landing page around it. For example, if the copy contains a section of 4 key points, we'd like you to design that section highlighting the 4 points visually in some way.

Stylistically, the sites vary - but they mostly fall into the simple / modern / clean / startup style. Here are a few websites we consider to be well designed, and we aspire to create similar sites. These are just general examples to get you thinking on the right lines:

Specifics Of This Job

We need a landing page design for a new client. The client is an online B2B service. The call to action is to get in contact to make an enquiry. The design should be simple, bright and focused. We have the copy ready for you to work with.

The design should be completed to the point where the developer can pick it up and recreate it in Genesis. An understanding of Genesis framework and its limitations / strong points would be helpful.

You will need to:

• Create the design and provide in .psd or other layered image file
• Work with us and the client providing multiple revisions until satisfied. On average we would do 2-3 round of revisions.
• Work with a piece of sales copy, and base the design around the copy. Visualise the important elements of the copy.
• Create the design exactly as it will be created in Wordpress. No 'lorem ipsum' sections.
• Source stock images, edit images to create unique images and create your own unique graphics where necessary. Provide these along with the design.
• Choose and recommend fonts.
• Choose and recommend colours.
• Design following our best practises (mostly marketing related, not design) and with conversions in mind. Be willing to learn more about marketing and conversions to improve results over time.
• Understand Wordpress and build sites that are realistic for our devs to recreate without too much trouble.
• Be willing to work with us & communicate with the team in our project management software.

The following are a bonus, but not necessary:

• Understanding of Genesis framework (or be willing to learn)
• Experience with coding
• Experience with other marketing related projects
