Media Content Creator [Videographer] [CLOSED]

We are seeking an energetic Multimedia Content Creator to work directly with the Marketing team to manage & edit photo & video production and promotion strategies.  

 Note: Only full-time applicants will be accepted as the role is not applicable for freelancers & third-party agents 

 We are looking for a talented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches organisation’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting. 

 You will focus on creating and implementing GS marketing materials, producing digital campaigns and content creation. You will also work closely with the social media & web specialist on growing our digital and social media presence and to increase our online traffic and engagement.  

Ultimately, as a Film and Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.

MAIN ASSIGNMENT 

The role ranges from reviewing footage and using computer software tools to split or combine clips into cohesive units to adding sounds and graphics according to the project requirements. You will be responsible for assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading it, add sound effects that enhance what's being shown on-screen through music selections/voice-over. 

• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process 
• Create rough and final cuts from raw materials 
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects 
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running 
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency. 

Qualifications: 

Good Video Editors are storytellers, listeners, and problem solvers all in one with a great eye for quality and attention to detail which is imperative when it comes time to edit videos. 

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor 
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing softwares  
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio 
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity 
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing 
• Creative mind and storytelling skills 

Essential: BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field
