We are a fast-growing SaaS company focus on offering a groundbreaking service to expecting moms and families who are far apart. Our business is facilitating joy and ease for new moms.

Our diverse team is fully remote and based in Asheville, NC, Central Europe, and Asia. Although you’ll work directly with both the CEO and content team, you won’t be micromanaged. The right candidate will be very comfortable managing their time, being accountable, and getting the job done well under their own steam. Our content team includes a content manager, editor, formatter, and a select pool of writers.

Seeking an SEO with an advanced understanding of intent. You need to be able to see the paths of awareness our users go through, and know how to apply SEO to our specific situation.

This job will begin as part-time and expand as we grow. We schedule performance based reviews and raises for all staff.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Some of your day-to-day tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Optimizing existing page content based on page correlation tools (Page Optimizer Pro)
  • Keyword research
  • Writing content briefs
  • Identifying and creating internal links for campaign pages from supporting content
  • Link gap analysis to determine which article to prioritize for next link targets
  • Setting up target anchor texts for new incoming links
  • Monitoring traffic performance in Google Analytics and Search Console

Long term responsibilities will include:

  • Improving an overall content SEO strategy for the brand
  • Improving an overall off-page SEO strategy for the brand
  • Competition analysis
  • Improving the existing SEO tactics of how to achieve short term and long term KPIs (traffic+revenue)
  • Monthly Technical Audit: Check up on broken links, orphaned pages, indexability issues, redirects, schema…

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has a deep understanding and experience with on-page and off-page optimization with the usual SEO tools stack (Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, Sitebulb, Sistrix, SearchConsole, PageOptimizerPro, Keywords Everywhere…)
  • You have experience in on-site link strategies. (Not link building, this is not an outreach job)
  • Has experience with technical SEO. This is not a tech SEO position, however, as a Lead SEO, we expect you to know the best practices when it comes to website architecture and technical optimization.
  • Preferably has experience with content strategy and setting a long-term plan.
  • Preferably has experience with performance tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Experienced working remotely with a reliable internet connection and a reliable computer.
  • Has excellent English language skills, you can confidently do light seo edits of articles.
  • Is efficient – You know what the 80/20 rule is, and know how to prioritize your work.
  • Has a great work ethic – You do the job, and you do it well.
  • Is respectful to your teammates.
  • Is reliable and communicative – You deliver on your commitments, give updates, and point out issues.

How we work:

Our workflows take place primarily inside Clickup & Slack. With Google Drive for resources and sheets. Our main SEO tools are Ahrefs, Page Optimizer Pro and AccuRanker.
