Job Description:

Your role will be supporting our senior media buyers with Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest campaign set up and optimization, updating audiences, doing audience research, competitor analysis, checking we are on track with budgets, updating change logs and multiple spreadsheets, pulling and analyzing data, helping with reporting.

You will be using a lot of spreadsheets, so logical thinking and simple math is a must. Ideally, you have experience with pulling reports from ads manager, Google Analytics, Whatagraph and other reporting systems.

The job requires to make sure that campaigns are set up correctly, that the naming of the campaigns is accurate, that you complete the work on time, that you communicate with the team clearly if some due dates have to be pushed forward. The tasks will require a very high attention to detail and ability to follow a well defined process. Some of them won’t be exciting or challenging, but you still need to take pride in doing them at the highest level.

Responsibilities:

If you had been working for us in the last couple of weeks these are a sample of the tasks you would have done:

  • Checked and optimized campaigns to make sure we are hitting client’s KPIs
  • Updated Video View audiences
  • Checked comments under the ads for negative feedback and to get some testimonials and hook ideas
  • Checked that budgets are on track for the month
  • Built out campaigns as per senior media buyer’s instructions
  • Updated spreadsheet with current campaigns and ads
  • Did audience research based on well performing existing interests
  • Analyzed best performing audiences, creatives and copy in the last 30d
  • Did competitor analysis to get fresh ideas for the client account
  • Created processes around the things we do every day
  • Communicated clearly and in timely manner with multiple team members in Slack, via Loom videos, Zoom calls or in ClickUp
  • Followed an agreed timeline and deadlines set out in ClickUp

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience building and optimizing Facebook and Instagram Ads is required; experience with Pinterest, TikTok, and PPC advertising is a plus
  • 1+ years of experience working in a fully remote environment
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager, Google Tag Manager and an understanding of the major analytics systems used in performance marketing
  • Extremely high attention to detail. Mistakes drive you nuts
  • Self-directed, driven, and willing to go beyond what is asked of you to deliver results
  • Experience juggling multiple important projects simultaneously
  • Experienced working with project management systems, deadlines and team collaboration
  • Can work independently and at the same time able to collaborate with our team
  • Is hungry to learn and improve their skills
  • Has excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • Is looking for a full-time position
  • Willing to work during most of the US business hours
  • And has a superb internet connection

The position is considered "remote" as we have no formal office. However, we do utilize tools like video conferencing and Slack, so you're independent, but never alone. The only requirements are a reliable internet connection, a distraction-free work environment, a computer, and a web camera (we are a web camera ON agency).

Although you may live and work anywhere you choose, you will be required to attend some regular meetings, and have flexible hours that can partially coincide with US-based business hours. This allows for more fluid communication between team members.

This is a full-time, 3 months trial position.

You will be providing your own computer & internet access to complete this work.

This is a 1099 contractor arrangement.
