Hi! We are very excited you landed on this job ad. Please read it carefully. If you are excited about what we are about and if your skills match our requirements we look forward to hearing from you :)
Job Description:
Your role will be supporting our senior media buyers with Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest campaign set up and optimization, updating audiences, doing audience research, competitor analysis, checking we are on track with budgets, updating change logs and multiple spreadsheets, pulling and analyzing data, helping with reporting.
You will be using a lot of spreadsheets, so logical thinking and simple math is a must. Ideally, you have experience with pulling reports from ads manager, Google Analytics, Whatagraph and other reporting systems.
The job requires to make sure that campaigns are set up correctly, that the naming of the campaigns is accurate, that you complete the work on time, that you communicate with the team clearly if some due dates have to be pushed forward. The tasks will require a very high attention to detail and ability to follow a well defined process. Some of them won’t be exciting or challenging, but you still need to take pride in doing them at the highest level.
If you can’t follow a process or create one, if you don’t like being organized or meticulous and if you don’t like data analysis then don’t apply, you won’t like it here.
Responsibilities:
If you had been working for us in the last couple of weeks these are a sample of the tasks you would have done:
Culture Fit:
Culture fit matters to us and we know it matters to you. How do you know if you're a cultural fit?
This is what we value and expect as a team.
1. Always create value. Bring your capabilities to the team, and provide confidence to your team by creating certainty and partnership. Be alert, curious, responsive & resourceful.
2. Take initiative. Look for ways to be proactive. Solve problems, make improvements, propose ideas.
3. Focus on results. Always keep your eye on the bigger picture and the desired end result, not just the time and effort required.
4. Have an ownership attitude. Take full responsibility for your tasks, your communication and your actions.
5. Be in alignment. Find out the overall goal or desired result and do what you need to do to align with it.
6. Be a partner. Value and respect others' talents and goals as well as our own. Go beyond your job description. Focus on contribution and not your status.
7. Take action. Whenever possible, make things happen. Don't wait for others to make the first move.
8. Be open. Be receptive to new ideas and initiative. Prepare and plan for change. Go outside of your comfort zone. Pay attention to patterns and anticipate what's coming next.
9. Communicate. Learn how others like to communicate. Close "open loops" and let others know when tasks are done and what happened.
10. Learn how to handle strong emotions. Have confidence and stay calm when dealing with emotionally charged situations. These are normal in an entrepreneurial organization. Focus on the positive. Manage your emotions. Don't take it personally.
11. Have patience and compassion. Look at the situation from the other person's point of view. Recognize that it takes time to change habits.
12. Don't give up. Learn to see mistakes and breakdowns as learning opportunities.
Did that list excite you? Then keep going.
Qualifications:
What we offer:
We place a high value on your ability to produce results, so if you want to be a part of what we're doing, be prepared to "show me, don't tell me" what you can bring to our team.
The position is considered "remote" as we have no formal office. However, we do utilize tools like video conferencing and Slack, so you're independent, but never alone. The only requirements are a reliable internet connection, a distraction-free work environment, a computer, and a web camera (we are a web camera ON agency).
Although you may live and work anywhere you choose, you will be required to attend some regular meetings, and have flexible hours that can partially coincide with US-based business hours. This allows for more fluid communication between team members.
This is a full-time, 3 months trial position.
You will be providing your own computer & internet access to complete this work.
This is a 1099 contractor arrangement.
