About the role

As a Press Pitches Writer at Dialed Labs, you'll be responsible for crafting well-researched, unique, quotable responses on behalf of our clients.

Each day, you’ll ghost write and submit pitches to journalists who send queries via numerous platforms, including HARO. You'll do this by:

1. Identifying and selecting the best queries to respond to for your assigned clients.
2. Researching and writing excellent responses that speak to our clients' expertise and experiences.
3. Working with our editor to make sure responses hit the mark.
4. Sending responses to journalists via email or directly through the media platforms.

To keep a log of your sent responses, you'll submit pitch data via a workflow in Slack.

About you

For this role, we need someone who can research and write with accuracy and efficiency, and is confident structuring that research into bite-sized, unique, engaging, and quotable statements. Someone who is excited by the challenge of writing short form content on a wide variety of subjects each day.

We're looking for a writer who:

• Has exceptional English writing skills
• Researches thoroughly
• Thinks and writes creatively, from perspectives other than their own
• Is detail-oriented
• Prioritises work effectively
• Welcomes feedback and applies it to their writing
• Is motivated, self-driven and autonomous
• Is a good communicator

Experience with HARO is ideal, but not a deal breaker. Content or email marketing, ghost writing, or copywriting experience will also be considered.

This role is ideal for someone who can work autonomously, yet enjoys contributing to the team; sharing ideas and offering insights into ways to learn and grow.
