About the role

As a HARO (Help a Reporter Out) Pitch Writer, you'll play an important role in our content and public relations strategy. Your core responsibility will be:

• Crafting engaging, succinct, and persuasive pitches to reply to reporter queries through the HARO platform
• Researching and understanding HARO queries to deliver relevant pitches
• Collaborating with our SEO team to align pitch responses with our broader communication strategy
• Enhancing our brand visibility, building relationships with journalists, and positioning us as a thought leader in our industry

About you

The ideal candidate is a nimble and creative writer with a sharp eye for identifying opportunities. We're seeking someone who has:

• Proven experience in public relations, content marketing, journalism, or a related field
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas in a concise manner
• Proficiency in researching and understanding various topics across different industries (Business, Marketing, Sales, Human Resource Management)
• A keen understanding of the media landscape and what journalists are looking for in a story
• The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks concurrently, and meet deadlines
• A strong desire to learn, adapt, and grow within a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with HARO or other media outreach platforms is a plus
