About the role

We’re a leading e-commerce brand in our space and we’re looking for an expert SEO analyst and keyword research specialist to help us with several research projects. 

Including:

1. Create in-depth content briefs for our writers
    
2. Topic ideation via additional keyword research
    
3. Research and analysis of gained and declined rankings
    
4. Internal link optimization
    
5. Anchor text optimization

We’re looking to up our game and pump out tons of high-quality content in the coming months and for that, we need you.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work on a unique project and gain invaluable skills.

About you

The ideal candidate will have at least two years working in SEO but more importantly, fits the personality type below:

• Systematic
• Organized
• Detail Oriented

The work can be grueling sometimes. The role involves a lot of repetition with high attention to detail and you’ll need to perform multiple tasks in order to ensure every brief is as detailed as possible for our writers.

There will be clear SOPs and systems for you to follow, yet still room for a little creativity. In our experience, SEO is both an art and a science.  

Our operating principle is “ask for forgiveness, not permission.” 

Being a completely remote team, you can't always wait around for an answer. We're all on different timezones so going out and doing a bit of research on your own to determine the correct course of action goes a long way. We encourage our team to not wait for an answer but rather go and seek it out.

Oh, one more thing, you’ll need to have a good working knowledge of the outdoors. Specifically, firearms and hunting - the more you know, the better as it’ll really come in handy.

Requirements

• 2+ years in an SEO role
• Near fluent or better written English
• Alignment with our values
• High attention to detail
• Intelligence, self-motivating, great organizational skills
• A+ Player
• Familiarity with project/task management apps - we use ClickUp
• Independence and entrepreneurship with a results-oriented, self-starter mindset.
• Proactivity, resourcefulness, and decisiveness with the ability to formulate solutions to challenges independently.

Benefits

• $1500 - $2500 per month depending on your experience
• Full-time & fully remote role
• Working hours: 40 hours per week. We have some flexibility on when you work, however, we expect your core working hours to be normal office hours Monday to Friday.
