APO Group (www.APO-opa.com) is currently looking for a talented Graphic Designer & Visual Strategist who will report to the VP, Digital, PR & Media Relations. This position is an incredible opportunity to work with a rapidly growing company that develops and sells solutions for promoting business activities to the media across Africa.

Who Are You?

As a Graphic Designer, you will combine your creative and technical skills in creating engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. The goal is to inspire and attract the right audience. For this, you need to be creative and have a strong ability to translate requirements into design.

You will have solid digital, social media, and PowerPoint presentation design skills and an excellent eye for design, modern graphic communications skills, a visual storytelling sense, and a strong interest in branding and marketing techniques.

You Will Need To:

• Assist with brand and client roll-out of creative work
• Study design briefs and determine requirements and execute
• Conceptualize visuals based on the requirement
• Create social media assets and promotional material
• Testing graphics across various media and platforms
• Schedule projects and meet tight deadlines
• Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs
• Work with copywriters to produce final design
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Create high-end PowerPoint presentations
• Design newsletters
• Create monthly visuals for content calendars
• Video editing
• Support sales with client proposals and collaterals

What You Will Bring:

• 5+ years Graphic Design experience preferably in communication, media, or PR related sphere
• Excellent multi-media presentation skills
• Experienced in social media branding and design
• Good typographic and infographic skills
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Experienced with Adobe Creative cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro)
• Experienced in 3D, animation and moving graphics
• Experienced in video editing
• Website design and coding experience preferable
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
