The company

Autism Parenting Magazine improves the quality of life for families affected by autism all around the world. They release a monthly magazine, run bi-annual summits and offer courses to help parents.

The company consists of a diverse team of all ages, backgrounds, faiths and locations, spread across the UK, USA, Philippines, South Africa and Eastern Europe. There are 12 full-time staff members and multiple freelancers, with everyone working completely remotely.

Their work is fun - sometimes demanding, but always satisfying. The company organises weekly team meetings and 1on1s via Zoom. While this is a fast-paced environment, they do fun things and try to get all the team members to connect with one another.

The role

The company is looking for an additional marketing assistant to help with all aspects of our digital marketing. You will be working alongside one other marketing assistant reporting to the operations manager and the CEO.

Regular tasks will involve

• Scheduling newsletters and sales emails
• Creating graphics and other creatives
• Managing our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and Pinterest)
• Scheduling web push notifications
• Marketing based administration (recording statistics, updating KPIs)

The ideal candidate should have a good standard of English and be comfortable writing social media captions.

Qualifications and experience

Several years experience working with digital marketing

Essential skills

• Writing skills
• Email marketing experience (Active Campaign or equivalent)
• Social media management from corporate perspective
• Basic graphic design using Canva or Photoshop
• Technical competence to resolve and troubleshoot problems independently through use of google or reading the manual
• Good organizational and planning skills

Nice to have Skills:

• Use of project management tools (Asana, trello, basecamp or equivalent)
• Basic web design using page builders like thrive
• Copywriting skills

Other requirements:

Have own personal home workspace

Fast internet connection

Adequate computer hardware and software to work online (i3 or i5 or i7)

Be able to work to a shift schedule with some overlap with the UK and USA

Comfortable using time tracking software
