About the role

We seek a highly motivated and skilled Content Writer with 2+ years of experience to create and edit compelling blog posts and articles about the craft of writing and roundups, grammar-related articles, listicles, book profiles, summaries and more.

We’re looking for someone who can help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive traffic.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear, attractive articles with a distinct voice
• Interpret content briefs to understand project requirements
• Collaborate with designers and our team
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
• Source images and other content
• Edit and create content for existing articles
• Write and produce new articles each week as per our briefs
• Work with team members using project management and SEO tools

Requirements:

BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism, or related field

About you

• Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
• Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Experience with SEO
• Strong research skills
• Creativity
• Collaborative spirit
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills

What's in it for you?

Work remotely. 20 hours per week.

$500 - 750 per month DOE
