About the role

We’re looking for a highly passionate and talented Content Writer to join our team!

In this role, you’ll be an extension of Colin’s (our founder) voice, values, and mission. You’ll be transforming his ideas, insights, and methodologies into engaging and high-quality content for our newsletters and social platforms.

The key purpose of this role is to build Colin’s personal brand through content and then leverage it to drive leads for our programs.

Our niche - transformational coaches and subject matter experts who want to turn their expertise into a thriving business. They must be passionate about serving others and facilitating human transformation.

Our content is focused on these core topics:

• Simple systems for building and growing a coaching/mentorship business
• Mindset and inner work to find balance and fulfillment on the entrepreneurial journey
• Strategies and tactics to leverage AI, automation, and systems
• Building a business that’s aligned with your vision, soul’s mission, and lifestyle you want

This role is for you if you’re obsessed with writing great content that converts leads, crafting bold headlines that capture attention, and turning ideas into captivating stories that build personal brand presence.

It’s not just about writing any content, it’s about understanding Colin’s values, story, and style to write as an extension of him.

Responsibilities You’ll Be Owning

We’re looking for someone who can take full ownership of this role. As our Content Writer, your tasks are to:

• Learn, practice, and master Colin’s voice, tone, and writing style
• Convert Colin’s videos, courses, and ideas into content for newsletters and social posts
• Deliver engaging LinkedIn content (short and long-form written posts)
• Deliver engaging Instagram content (carousels and text-based reels)
• Create and test hooks/headlines for newsletters and social posts
• Research and come up with topics for our newsletters
• Collaborate with Colin to outline and draft the newsletters
• Collaborate with Coin’s EA to create visuals for social posts, using our Canva templates
• Tracking and reporting on metrics to make data-driven decisions on optimizing engagement and conversion
• Learning and testing new content marketing strategies to help achieve our company’s goals
• Leveraging AI to speed up implementation (we love using AI to increase output but always make sure the final pieces breathe creativity and authenticity)

 

Results You’ll Be Driving

You’ll know you’re succeeding in your role when your efforts lead to:

• Growing our newsletter subscribers list through social content
• Increasing new leads for the membership community through newsletter and social content
• Building Colin’s personal brand presence through a consistent flow of quality content. We don’t care about vanity metrics like followers and likes. We care about attracting the right people into our world and nurturing them into leads.

 

About you

Requirements For This Role

To be an A-Player in this role, you must have:

• Excellent English skills, written and spoken
• Excellent content writing skills with a solid understanding of the ideal writing style for each platform (Newsletter, LinkedIn, Instagram) - you know exactly how to tweak content for each platform to drive engagement and conversion
• Proven experience writing content for the following niches: entrepreneurship, coaching, creator economy, mindset, and personal development.
• A proactive and action-oriented approach to work. You’re relentless and obsessed with creating quality results.
• A self-driven and self-starter mindset. While you’ll be working closely with me, you take ownership of driving results and make things happen without needing to be told what to do.
• An obsession with mastery. You’re constantly finding ways to learn, grow, and master your craft and skills.
• A positive and friendly personality. You bring excitement and energy everywhere you go. You’re coachable and vocal in sharing your ideas, insights, and feedback.

 

Other Skills that would be great, but not required, for you to have:

• Experience with Canva - creating carousels and visuals for social posts
• Experience with managing a content calendar and social automation tools (we use Notion and Publer)
• Experience with creating video scripts - we will be expanding to video content on YouTube soon

• A flexible work schedule. You will need to have a minimum 3 hours of overlap between 8am-5pm MST to be available for 1:1 check-ins, team meetings, and collaborative working sessions with Colin
