About the company

Universal Fabrications is an engineering company based in Nuneaton, England. Successfully trading for 45 years the company specialises in sheet metal fabrication and precision engineering, providing parts and assemblies for the automotive, construction, defence, and energy sectors. 

Over the last 2 years the company has aligned its manufacturing capabilities to retain and attract production based customers whilst still supporting larger projects.  To do this there has been significant investment in the team's capability, the machinery we use and the space we operate within. The result has been that our revenues have grown by 130% from £2.7m to £6.2m through a rationalisation of the customer base and the introduction of hand picked additions. Now is the time to further build and grow as we strive to achieve a broader portfolio, significantly increase our revenues and retain strong margins. 

About the role

The role itself is a new one for the business as reputation and relationships have historically generated opportunities. As the Content Manager you would be responsible for generating enquiries through the creation of online content to drive traffic, leads, and sales.

You would be the in house expert working directly ith the Managing Director and Commercial Manager. This would include:

• Aligning all online activity to the sales and marketing strategy.
• Developing the website in general adding photos and videos of new process’s and updates on new projects
• Using WordPress to produce time relevant and innovative content
• Publishing content weekly across social media platforms
• Blog articles explaining cost and our pricing
• Using analytical tools, such as Google Analytics to generate accurate reporting

 

About you

We are looking for some who is a real top level achiever who has a genuine desire to use their skills and experiences to help the company grow. As you would become an integral part of our team it is important that our work fits within your own work life balance.  We are looking for 40 hours per week although for the right candidate there could some flexibility. That said you must be available for pre arranged online meetings to discuss progress and be responsive enough to acknowledge emails and calls within 1 - 2 hours during  GMT 0900 - 1700 hours.

Ideally from a design background, with specialism in online marketing and associated tools such as wordpress.
