About the role

Narrative is searching for an exceptional, growth-oriented, full-time Business Development Specialist to join the team and take ownership of new business development efforts. 

In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving Narrative's growth by developing new business opportunities and fostering relationships.

As the Business Development Specialist, you will work with the Managing Partner to establish and own a comprehensive system for business development. 

Specifically, your role will have three key responsibilities: 

  • Lead Identification and Outreach (~70% of time): You will take responsibility for identifying, contacting and arranging meetings with good-fit prospective clients.
  • Professional Network Education & Relationship Support (~15% of time): You will coordinate outreach and ongoing communication with industry contacts (e.g. accountants, lawyers, and others with private company relationships) to educate on Narrative, arrange meetings, and support awareness of the company.
  • Marketing (~15% of time): You will coordinate firm content & other marketing  and collateral production across channels (e.g. LinkedIn, email, other). You will help to broaden the brand reach and communicate the value and mission of the company. 

About you

In this role, you will spearhead the development and execution of campaigns, marketing strategies, and communication initiatives to attract high-quality, good-fit leads. 

Must-Have Experience:

  • Lead Generation Strategies Experience: Experience identifying and converting leads for B2B Services and expertise in lead outreach strategies (Email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and other channels.)
  • B2B Business Development Experience: Demonstrated success in developing business relationships and strategies.

Nice to Have:

  • Marketing Experience: A solid background in marketing principles.
  • Content Marketing: Experience in content marketing or a strong desire to learn and master it.
  • Managerial Experience: Ability to manage people and projects.

Skills and Proficiencies:

  • Fluency in English: Must have C1 or C2 level proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Google Sheets and the ability to quickly learn and use standard software products.

Working Arrangement:

  • Full-Time: This is a full-time, fully remote position.
  • Semi Flexible Schedule: You will have flexibility in managing your 40-hour workweek, though alignment with US East Coast hours from 8am to 11am EST will be required.
  • Regular Meetings: You will be expected to meet with the Managing Partner on US East Coast time at least 3 times per week for approximately 30-45 minutes.
