Hello there! First of all, I want to have a word with you: intro video :)
Are you looking for a stable job in these rough times? Have you finished all the series on Netflix and now you have too much free time? Come to the dark side, we have exciting work for you. Despite what's happening in the world right now, we are looking to increase our productivity and help people take better care of their furry friends. We provide accurate information that they can later use to make their dogs' lives happier and healthier.
If you answered yes to these questions, then read on. You can scroll down if you’re a cat parent or allergic to pets, as well :).
My name is Bogdan and I’m a project manager here at Oswaldo Media and I will be your point of contact throughout the whole recruiting process.
We run a number of authoritative dog websites. Our sites' mission is to be the trusted expert in breed, health and training information for dogs and advocate for responsible dog ownership. One of the websites is animalso.com.
And we are doing pretty well – we have more than 400 000 monthly visitors across our portfolio of websites. This means, 13 000 dog lovers from all over the world read our articles every single day!
We’re looking for a few expert dog writers who can help us expand our site, animalso.com, and several other websites.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to write about the thing you love most - Dogs! Whether you’re a hobbyist or consider yourself a pro on the topic, we want you to write for us. You’ll be covering a wide range of topics, including the wider pet genre in general.
For this, we need a true expert - no fakers here, please! If you don’t truly have a passion for dogs and writing, it’s not going to work, I’m afraid.
Still reading? Great!
So, what’s in it for you? Not only do you get to make money from your passion, but you’ll also be part of a wider team who is driven to grow the website further. We’ll give you a consistent, flexible flow of work alongside world-class editorial tools to ensure you’re able to produce the very best content with minimal bottlenecks.
You’ll also get to be part of an exciting, growing project with a bright future and for which we have big plans in the pipeline.
Please note that we have very high editorial standards compared to most other blogs. Every post that we publish goes through our strict editorial process where we check all claims and ideas for accuracy as well as the consistency of thoughts.
You'll be assigned topics by myself or an Editor and given a submission deadline. It's quite likely that in the first couple of weeks there will be a lot of feedback and editing required, but generally, once a writer gets into the swing of things, that part should be minimal.
==What you’ll do:==
1) Deep topic research: article outline creation (headings/subheadings/subtopics)
2) Awesome Quality Writing
3) Searching for images
